Personality: Kyo is best described as a little imp. He loves causing trouble and getting a rise out of others, especially people he doesn't know. He's a little more tame around people he knows well. He's practically addicted to sex and seems to be unable to keep his hands off hide. He's absolutely stupid when it comes to dealing with relationships and tends to say things in a way that can really hurt other people's feelings, even if that's the opposite of what he means to do. Even though he would never admit it, he's very dependant on the people in his life as they provide him with distraction for the things in his life and past that haunt him. He's very protective of people he cares about and easily gets violently angry if anyone bothers them. It is fiction, every piece of it, even the parts we based off real events. Go chew on that a while. XD) Kyo's mother died giving birth to him, something that has haunted him his entire life. His father blamed him for the death of his mother and became drunk and abusive towards Kyo. In middle school, Kyo met and befriended Shinya. In high school, he started to dabble in drugs. Shinya, who he was now romantically close to, found out and threatened to turn him in if he didn't stop right then. Not wanting to be taken away, he agreed and stopped but began to find release in pain. He met Kisaki as they were forming Dir en Grey and fell in love. Kisaki was very abusive and took complete advantage of Kyo, using what he knew about Kyo's past and twisting his mind so that Kyo was completely lost in it. During one of their sessions, Kisaki burned Kyo's hand horribly with a lighter, which finally led to Kyo admitting to Shinya that he was being abused. The band kicked Kisaki out and helped Kyo move on from it all. Kyo never really got involved in another relationship, still feeling like he belonged to Kisaki and that Kisaki had ruined him. hide was his first real relationship and he had a really hard time getting used to it. He did many things he regrets, including cheating, but somehow managed to keep hide close. He's completely in love (and dependant on) hide now and can't even imagine his life without him. Misc: Kyo's opted not to work in Beseda, not because he wants to be lazy, which is what he says, but because he wants to make sure he's always there if someone needs a friend. He would never admit this, however. He does occassionally do gigs for various underground clubs if he gets to feeling boxed in. Also, even after all this time, he still thinks he's not good enough for hide and that if he doesn't constantly prove it, hide will realize and leave him. Part of the reason why he's always so sexually driven with hide. He also blames himself compeltely for his mother's death and refuses to believe otherwise.
